"Planehunters" is a team that does research, detects and recoveres crashed planes from World War II. We are a team of volunteers who are interested in the airforces that circled Belgium between '40-'45.

Since January 2008 we are acknowledged by the Flemisch Government

Our head-quarters are located in Herentals, Belgium. Because our region was a start point for many attacks on Germany, it is not suprising that a lot of planes crashed in this area. Our aim is to get as much information as possible about the crashed aircrafts.

The familymembers of the crew and pilotes of these unfortunate planecrashes are being informed to our best capability about the location and circumstances of the crashes.
We are interested in all the given information, regarding the nationality of the crashed planes.

If by any chance, some human remains are being found in the aircrafts, they are always being treated with the proper respect. Information about crashed planes that have not yet been recovered is always welcome.
