German 2 engined bomber

Type unknown

Crashed at Booischot in February 1942

2 crew KIA

1 survived

We know from the maps that a local found in the plane (bomber?) that it came from “Flugplatz Achmer” in Germany . The maps also show us a pencil mark to Paris and to Londen. The watch on the photo was also stolen from the plane by a local

We still have to find the point of impact and the type of plane

The map shows the starting point near Osnabruck (map and watch R. Vangenechten collection)

Regards

Benny
